Update 17-Mar-2017 00:29 CET: The issue that causes what appear to be authentication problems and slowness with IMAP and POP is related to a storage server. We are working to resolve this and will update this status with more information when we have it.
Update: 17-Mar-2017 10:20 CET: Overnight we made some changes to help alleviate the problems, and there have been no issues in the last few hours. We will be doing further work today so will leave this issue as “Ongoing” and update it when we have more information.
Update: 17-Mar-2017 10:46 CET: We are going to do some work on the affected storage server, and this may cause some intermittent access problems for the next few minutes. Apologies for the inconvenience.
Update 17-Mar-2017 11:26 CET: We completed the necessary work within 10 minutes, and services should be running normally. We will continue to monitor the situation for a while before marking this issue as “Resolved”.
