We are aware of a phishing email that has been sent to some Runbox customers. The email has the following details:

From: “ADMINISTRATOR”
To: undisclosed-recipients:;
Subject: CLOSE MY ACCOUNT REQUEST.

This email contains a link that takes you to a website where you are asked to enter your Runbox account details. Please do not enter your details and instead just delete the message. The email does not contain any malware that can do any damage, but entering your username and password in to the fake website could lead to your account being compromised.
We are working to deal with this issue, and have reported the fake website to the hosting company whose servers it is using.
Update 02-May-2018 21:26 CEST – The hosting company that owns the servers the phishing web page was hosted on have now removed the content. We have also taken action to filter these messages in our service.
