[Completed] Service downtime for essential software upgrades

On Wednesday 05-Sep-2018 at 06:30 CEST (04:30 UTC, 00:30 EDT) we will perform a required software upgrade that will cause downtime on all services for up to an hour.

We would like to have given you more notice of this essential upgrade, but due to related issues with high load on some of our servers we want to carry out this work as soon as possible.

The upgrade that we are doing will improve the responsiveness and reliability of the servers affected, and help us maintain the usual high level of service you expect from us.
