We are currently investigating a problem with our spam scanning that is causing an increase in the number of messages going to the Inbox that would normally go to the Spam folder. This is being caused by a specific set of filter rules and we are working with the provider of those rules to work out what has happened. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

We have identified a problem with the process that updates spam filter rule sets which had prevented them from being updated correctly. The rule sets have now been updated manually and we expect spam filtering to return to normal operations.
