In order to consolidate our email system and prepare for future growth, we are moving some of our email storage servers within the data center in Oslo where our services are located.
On Monday, April 21 between 07:30 CEST (05:30 UTC, 1:30 AM EDT) and 9:30 CEST (07:30 UTC, 3:30 AM EDT) the servers in question will be moved to the new area. We expect the entire operation will take up to 30 minutes, during which the email service might be inaccessible for some users.
In the meantime, incoming email will be safely queued on other Runbox servers at the data center. Once normal operations are restored and the service is accessible again, all incoming email that have been queued during the downtime will be delivered to their respective accounts.
The upgrade will be completed as quickly and safely as possible to limit the extent of any downtime. Further updates will be posted here on our Service Status page.

The operation has complicated successfully and all services are now resuming. Some additional servers may need to be moved at a later time, which might therefore be scheduled in the near future.
